Four Cs Explained
CUT
The cut of a diamond is one of the most critical factors in determining its overall appearance. It refers to how well the diamond has been shaped and faceted, affecting its brilliance and sparkle. A well-cut diamond reflects light beautifully, creating that iconic shimmer. Cut quality is graded from Excellent to Poor, with higher-quality cuts maximizing the diamond's inherent beauty.

Four Cs Explained
COLOR
Diamonds come in various colors, but the most valued are those that are colorless. The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) grades diamond color from D (completely colorless) to Z (light yellow or brown). Colorless diamonds allow more light to pass through, resulting in greater brilliance. Near-colorless diamonds (G-J) provide excellent value while appearing almost identical to the untrained eye.

Four Cs Explained
CLARITY
Clarity measures the presence of internal or external imperfections, known as inclusions and blemishes. The GIA clarity scale ranges from Flawless (no imperfections visible under 10x magnification) to Included (visible imperfections to the naked eye). While flawless diamonds are rare, diamonds with slight inclusions (VS1-VS2) or very slight inclusions (VVS1-VVS2) offer a great balance of beauty and affordability.

Four Cs Explained
CARAT
Carat weight measures a diamond's size, with one carat equaling 200 milligrams. Larger diamonds are rarer and more valuable, but carat weight alone doesn't determine quality. It’s important to balance the Four Cs to find a diamond with the right combination of size, brilliance, and clarity that fits your budget.
